We arrived in Penticton on thursday evening and Kenny and I have been staying with my cousins, Ian and Tiff, they are part of a family farm that grows grapes as part of the Okanagan wine area, Penticton is set in a lovely area and we were looked after very well by my family.
When we left on wednesday morning Ian filled up our fridge with all sorts of meat and bottles of wine, other family also joined in giving me other food stuffs so i have a collection of homemade pies and fruit in jars too, i am looking forward to sharing this with people i meet along my way.
Whilst in Penticton the RamblingRat expedition was sponsored with bio diesel by Barry Beecroft fuels and a lovely lady called Judy Poole, she had won Penticton business lady of the year, so that was kind of her.

Wow! That was a very good video blog! I hope to see more of that, and I bet you enjoyed it, too.
Great that you found two great sponsors. The lady, Judy (hope I have her name correct), sounds like someone I could look up to. Very good that she helped you out, and I’m pleased to know that good will and warm hearts abound in all the communities you travel through.
Much love,
Nichole
